Victoria was born on August 28, 1947 in Denver, CO to Rosemarie Fore and Lawrence Zuppan. She lived all around the country in her younger years as her father was in the Air Force. In 1986, Victoria and her two daughters settled in Tallahassee, FL. While there, she went back to school and earned her Masters Degree in Social Work from Florida State University (GO NOLES!) After graduation, Victoria moved to Jacksonville where she spent her career in Social Work helping the severely mentally ill and later persons in need of home health services. Her servant and loving heart was evident where she was able to touch many lives through the ministries at her church, Avondale United Methodist Church. Over the years she had been in the choir, served on the Mission's Team, volunteered in the food pantry, and feeding the homeless. Victoria also spent many years volunteering with the American Red Cross, where she had the honor of assisting during the aftermath of 9-11.
Victoria enjoyed working in the yard with Sandy, the long road trips they took back to Wisconsin to visit with Sandy's family and the days spent on Trisha's farm.
Victoria was preceded in death by her brother Lawrence (Larry), Jr. She is survived by her wife of 25 years, Sandra Arts; her mother, Rosemarie Fore of Denver, CO; sisters Michelle Bernardoni, Patricia Latimer, and Renee Riffle; brother, Martin (Scott) Zuppan; daughters Trina (Fain) Searcy, Karen Jolene (Kirk) Spitzer; 8 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, January 18th, 2025 at 11:00 AM at Avondale United Methodist Church, 1651 Talbot Avenue, Jacksonville, FL 32205. In lieu of flowers please designate memorial contributions to Avondale United Methodist Church (aumcjax.org) in Victoria's name.
She was loved by many and will be deeply missed.
