

She was born August 10, 1921 in Moultrie, Georgia. She later moved with her family to Charleston South Carolina.
She was a member of St. John the Divine Greek Orthodox Church where she served on the Parrish Council as well as was a member of the Philoptochos Society and Daughters of Penelope. She was a founding member of St. Photios Greek Orthodox Shrine. She also was the unofficial “Greeter of the Church”. She was also active with the school PTA.
Vula worked her whole life. It was her passion. She started as a child working in her father’s restaurants and bars, and the Naval Yard in Charleston S.C. during WWII. After marriage she worked with her husband in advertising until his death in 1974. It was then she began a 35 year real estate career with Watson Realty. She loved real estate and people. She semi-retired in 2011.
She was predeceased by her husband Chris Trizonis and sister Fifi Marcus.
She is survived by son Nick Trizonis (Felicia); daughter Zafia Trizonis; sister Katherine Patrinely; grandchildren Macy and Chris Trizonis; Dalton Crabtree.
A Trisiagion service and visitation will be held at 6:30pm Tuesday, March 6, at St. John the Divine Greek Orthodox Church, 3850 Atlantic Blvd, Jacksonville, Florida 32207. Funeral service will be held at 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, March 7, at St. John the Divine Greek Orthodox Church.
Interment will follow in Oaklawn Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contribution may be made to St. John the Divine Greek Orthodox Church.
