Wayne Robert Trasente

Wayne dedicated 40 years of service to the State of Florida, working as a Senior Clerk in the Department of Health's Water Department. His long career reflected his work strong work ethic, reliability, and commitment to serving his community.

A graduate of Terry Parker High School, Wayne remained deeply connected to his hometown throughout his life. He found joy in the simple pleasures - especially home cooked meals shared with family and exploring the many restaurants around Jacksonville. These moments brought him great happiness and were a true reflection of his appreciation for good food and good company.

Wayne will be remembered for his steady presence, kind nature, and the relationships he built over the years. He will be deeply missed by his cousins, work associates, friends, and neighbors, all whom were touched by his life.

A Memorial Mass will be held at 11:00 am on March 27, 2026, at Resurrection Catholic Church, 3383 University Blvd N, Jacksonville, FL 32277.

A Committal Service will take place on March 27, 2026, at Arlington Park Cemetery, 6920 Lone Star Road, Jacksonville, Florida 32211 at 2:00 PM.
