

Jacksonville, Florida, resident, Wilfred Rivera, 48, died Wednesday, March 2, 2011, in the neighborhood of Saint Augustine, Florida.
Mr. Rivera was born on April 15, 1962, in Bronx, New York, to parents Lucia and Epifanio Rivera. “Will,” as his family and friends enjoyed calling him, was a lovable husband, dedicated father, and hard-working man.
Mr. Rivera was highly-respected by his peers and competitors in the repossession and private investigation business, dedicating 15 years of his life to his craft. Those who knew him well expressed that, “He was the epitome of a true professional. He had the highest work ethic any person could have.” One of his biggest accomplishments was to buy his own business, Atco-Bennett, in 2005. Prior to 2005, Mr. Rivera was a credit agent for 25 years.
The most important joy of his life was spending time with his family and friends. He is survived by his wife of over 25 years, Ileana (Lennie); his children Crystal, Christian, and Ashley, and his one grandson, Josiah.
Services will be held at The Church of Pentecost, 8709 Hogan Rd., 11 am Tuesday, March 8, 2011, with visitation beginning at 10:00 a.m. This will be followed by the burial services at Greenlawn Cemetery, located at 4300 Beach Blvd., Jacksonville, Florida 32207.
