William A. Fair, 67, passed away August 19, 2014. He was born in Pittsburgh, PA to the late Tony and Bessie Fair. Willie held a career with AT&T for 37 years before retiring in September of 2009. He is a member of First Coast Baptist Church. There, he enjoyed working with the children in the AWANA ministry. One of his favorite bible verses, Isaiah 40:31, reads, “but those who hope in the LORD will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint.” Willie is survived by his loving wife, Denise; son, Jonathan; daughter, Andrea Norden (Tony); granddaughter, Liberty Norden; mother-in-law, Clyde Wilkinson; and sister-in-law, Carol Edge. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, August 23 at 4:00pm at First Coast Baptist Church, 7587 Blanding Blvd. Jacksonville, FL 32244. The family is asking that memorial contributions be made in Willie’s name to the Building Fund at First Coast Baptist Church.
