MAUZYWilliam G. Mauzy age 77 of Jacksonville, FL went peacefully to the Lord on August 01, 2012 after a lengthy illness. He leaves behind his loving wife of 32 years, Dorothy Baker Mauzy; 3 sons, Karlas Mauzy, Evan Anthony Mauzy, and Kip D. Stone (Kimberly); 3 daughters, Pamela Mauzy Johnson (Cornelius), Kimberly Marshall, and Pamela Baker Stone; 10 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.He was a Vietnam Veteran of the US Air Force and retired after 20 years of distinguished service. He served faithfully as a Steward of Mt. Olive AME Church. Visitation with the family celebrating Bill's life will be held Friday, August 10, from 6:00-8:00 pm at Corey-Kerlin Funeral Home, 940 Cesery Blvd. Jacksonville, FL 32211. A memorial service for Bill will be held at 11:00 am, August 11, 2012 at Mt. Olive AME Church, 841 Franklin St., Jacksonville, FL 32207. In lieu of flowers the family requests donation be made to the American Diabetes Association in memory of William G. Mauzy, diabetes.org.
