He was born on July 13, 1968 to Nick and Joyce Smolios in Gary, IN. On September 12, 1992, William married Cheryl (Adler) in Merrillville, IN. William received his Bachelor’s degree in Business Management from Jones College and went on to spend 28 years as a beloved owner/operator of four Dairy Queen’s.
He is survived by his wife Cheryl and their two children Zoe Smolios and Bailey Smolios. He is also survived by his brother Mike (Patricia) Smolios and many nieces and nephews.
Visitation and service will be held on Thursday, September 14, 2023 at St. John the Divine Greek Orthodox Church located at 12760 Beach Blvd. Jacksonville, FL 32246. Service will begin at 11 a.m.. A burial blessing will follow the service at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to St. John the Divine Greek Orthodox Church in William’s name.
