Dr. W. A. McMillan, 91, transferred to heaven Friday, December 2, 2011. He was born in Moulton, Alabama, to Auburn and Emma McMillan. He was a Baptist pastor from1955 until retirement in 2000. He pastored Mt. Pisgah Baptist Church seven years until transferring in1958 to the Normandy Baptist Temple, now West Jacksonville Baptist Church (WJBC). He is survived by his wife of 72 years, Mary Lou, a daughter, Freida Bagwell, and a granddaughter, Ashley Morgan. Funeral services will be at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, December 7, 2011, at WJBC. Rev. Wally Bearden of Jasper, Georgia, will officiate. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in his memory to the missions' fund of WJBC, 5634 Normandy Blvd., Jax, FL.
