Yvan Leopold Morel, 78, passed away on Sunday, July 4, 2021, surrounded by family and friends in his home in Jacksonville, Florida. He was born on September 3, 1942 in Toul, France to Leopol Camille Morel and Eliane G. Bouiller.
He is survived by his loving wife of 58 years, Marie-Louise; three daughters, Yanne(John), Eliane(Christopher Grimes) and Katia; a son, Lionel(Paula); three sisters, Jocelyne, Leoliane and Yvanne; two brothers, Yannick and Yann; seven grandchildren, Samantha, Jessica, Felicia, Mariah, Kayla, Lorraine and Jonathon; six great grandchildren, Christopher, Brandon, Kahlan, Cheyenne, Dalton and Paisley; and many friends.
Yvan immigrated from France in 1977 with his family to begin a new life in Jacksonville. He adored his family and he loved to fish.
A Celebration of Life will be held at the Chapel of Corey-Kerlin Funeral Home on 940 Cesery Blvd. in Jacksonville on Saturday, July 24, 2021 at 10:00 a.m.
