Zachary Reid Kent

Zachary was born on October 4, 1990, in Dallas, Texas, to Stanley Kent and JoAnna Doretch. He proudly served in the Army National Guard, where he worked as an 88M (Truck Driver), and also dedicated his skills as a federal technician and zone driver.

On May 4, 2024, Zachary married the love of his life, Hannah Kent. Together they built a life filled with laughter, devotion, and cherished routines. He later welcomed his daughter, Aria Kent, who became the brightest joy in his world. Zachary earned his Associate’s Degree in Business and carried an unwavering work ethic throughout his career.

Zachary was known for his big heart, steady reliability, and love of simple pleasures. He enjoyed fishing, cheering on the Jacksonville Jaguars, mowing the yard, riding four-wheelers, tinkering with Volkswagens, and buying scratch-offs. He was happiest outdoors or surrounded by the people he loved.

He is survived by his wife Hannah; daughter Aria; mother JoAnna Doretch and stepfather Richard Ellisworth; father Stanley Kent; brother Brandon, sister-in-law Jennifer, and their children; brother Daniel Kent; numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, his National Guard family, and many others whose lives he touched.

He is preceded in death by his sister, Ashley Kent, and his uncle, Timothy Langford.

Zachary will be remembered for his loyalty, humor, and the steadfast love he gave to his family and friends. His presence will be deeply missed and forever treasured.

A visitation will be held at Hardage-Giddens Funeral Home, located at 11801 San Jose Blvd, Jacksonville, Florida, 32223, on December 1, 2025, from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm.

A memorial service will take place at the same venue on December 2, 2025, from 11:00 am to 12:00 pm.
