Bryant "BC" Charles Collins

Bryant “BC” Charles Collins, 70 of Jacksonville, passed away Thursday evening at Onslow Memorial Hospital. Bryant was a proud member of the United States Marine Corps for 20 years, was the recipient of the Navy Cross and Navy Commendation Medal among many others, and he loved his family, country, and Corps.

He is preceded in death by his wife Wendy Collins, his parents Edward and Minerva Collins, and his sister Margaret Collins.

Bryant is survived by his son Donald D. Collins (Lindsay) of Jacksonville, daughters Jennifer Pickard (Fred III) of Jacksonville, and Amanda Collins of Connecticut, brother Michael Collins of Connecticut, sisters Patricia Anadio of Georgia and Rosanne Sagaitis of New York, and his grandchildren David Bryant Collins, Michael Pickard, Brittney Pickard, and Fred Pickard IV.

A visitation will be held on Monday evening from 5 – 7 PM at Johnson Funeral Home of Jacksonville. A funeral service will be held at 7 PM following the visitation. Burial will take place Wednesday afternoon at 2 PM at Coastal Carolina Veteran’s Cemetery of Jacksonville.
