Carl Frederick Thompson

He was a member of the Christian Community Church. Carl also retired from the US Navy. He was preceded in death by his granddaughter: Rachel Thompson.

A Funeral Service will be held Monday, February 1, 2016, at 12:30 p.m. at Johnson Funeral Home Chapel, Jacksonville. Burial will follow at the Coastal Carolina State Veteran’s Cemetery with military honors.

He is survived by his wife: Ruth Ann Thompson; son: Carl Frederick Thompson, Jr. of Beulaville, NC; daughters: Diana Lynn Anderson of Washington State, Marsha Ann Dillon ands husband Timothy of Richlands; brother: Joe Thompson of Flatwoods, Ky.; grandchildren: Crissy McDonald, Ammy Alford, William Dillon, Michael Tolley, Stephanie Beeler; great grandchildren: Mekanne Alford, Miley Alford, Cayla McDonald, Cedric McDonald, Tanner Spurlock, Cody Beeler, Chris Beeler, Jessie Beeler; sister-in-laws: Mary Jane Ours, Mildred Boykin.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 -9:00 p.m. at Johnson Funeral Home, Jacksonville on Sunday, January 31, 2016.
