Pamela Joy Flowers

21 septembre 195013 septembre 2020

Pamela Rice Flowers, 69, of Jacksonville went to be with the Lord on Sunday, September 13, 2020.

Pam was born on September 21, 1950 in Morehead City. She was a retired school teacher. Pam was extremely crafty and found her joy in painting. Fall was her favorite season; she loved the harvest, pumpkins, scarecrows and everything fall. Pam's most extraordinary gift was her pure, golden heart. She loved her family and friends above all else and that was evident in all that she did. If it was your birthday, Pam had a party themed with your favorite things, down to every detail. Above all else, Pam was a most devoted and loving wife. She followed her husband Bob anywhere that the Marine Corp. sent them. She did it with a smile and kept every detail together. Her love for Bob was relentless. To say that Pam will be greatly missed is the ultimate understatement.

She is survived by her devoted husband of almost 38 years, SgtMaj Retired Bobby G. Flowers; son, Brandon Glenn Flowers; her father, McKinley Rice (Lucille); brother, Frankie DeVincent (Mary); grandchildren, Shyann and Avery Flowers; and her beloved miniature poodle, Harley, who misses her already.

A service will be held at 11:00 am on Friday, September 18, 2020 at Northwoods United Methodist Church. A private inurnment at Coastal Carolina State Veterans Cemetery following the service.

While flowers are welcome, memorial contributions may be made in Pam's name to the church she loved, Northwoods United Methodist Church.
