He was a member of the New River Community Church. He also served in WWII and the Korean War in U.S. Army.
A Memorial Service will be held at a later date in Ohio.
He is survived by his sons: Scott McIntire of Buena Vista, Col., Tim McIntire of Casper, Wy., Dave McIntire of Chandler, Az.; daughters: Marsha Prentiss of Lenexa, Ks., Sue Sharpe of Sneads Ferry NC; brother: Wayne Seppeler of Mt. View, Cal.; sisters: Barbara Yant of Genoa, Oh., Bonnie Gillespie of Oak Harber, Oh.
