Ala Faye Watson

Ala Faye Geeslin Watson, 83, of Curry, passed away Tuesday, May 29, 2018, at her residence.

As per her request, there will be no visitation. A graveside service will be held Friday, June 1, 2018, at 3 p.m. at Boldo Cemetery.

Ala Faye was preceded in death by her parents, Louie A. and Rushie Mae Geeslin; husband, Theron R. "Ted" Watson; two sons, Theron R. "Bubby" Watson Jr. and William "Sonny" Watson; two sisters, Mildred Geeslin and Nellie Geeslin Williams; one son-in-law, Ricky Jones; one granddaughter, Jerusha Jones Key; and a host of other family members.

She is survived by her two daughters, Elane Jones of Curry and Vicki Gilbert and her husband, Ken, of Curry; one son, Stephen Watson and his wife, Deana, of Wetumpka; one sister, Peggy Squillace of Curry; nine grandchildren, Jason Jones and his wife, Jenna, Landon Watson, Tyler Watson, Kyle Gilbert and his wife, Sarah, Cory Jones and his fiancé, Sara Taft, Brandi Watson, Lindsey Watson, McCade Watson, and Mark Mathis; six great-grandchildren, Caden, Dominic, Rylee, Isbella, Kristian, and Jonah; a host of other family members and friends; and the staff at Kindred Care Hospice, who loving cared for her during this difficult time.-
