Candice Lauren Best

Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, June 12, 2021, at 3 p.m. at Woodland Trace Church of Christ. George Barrera will officiate.

Candice was born in Birmingham, on December 29, 1987, she grew up in Jasper. She graduated from Walker High School in 2006, then attended Bevill State and University of Alabama of Huntsville and graduated with a Bachelor Degree of Science in Chemical Engineering and a Minor in Materials Engineering and Chemistry. She began her working career at Mr. Subs, Cracker Barrel, after she graduated she began working as a Project Engineer at the National Technical Systems in Huntsville and taught a Chemistry Class at Bevill State. Candice was an avid lover of dogs and horses and classic rock music. She loved God, her family, and the love of her life her son Eli. She will missed by many.

She was preceded by death her grandfathers, Joe Best and Larry Morris.

She is survived by her 5 year old son, Christopher Elijah “Eli” Perry; parents, Jeff Best (Chona) and Donna Morris; brothers, Levi Best and Noah Best; grandmothers, Wilma Best and Barnell Morris and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

In Lieu of flowers, the family request donations be made to the ATAC Research Fund.
