

Graveside service will be held Saturday, July 18, 2020, at 2 p.m., at Oak Hill Cemetery, with Kilgore-Green Funeral Home directing. Due to Covid-19 a face mask is required and social distancing.
He was a retired educator and coach who touched the lives of many children. He was a good man and would help anyone in need. To know Frank Barnes was to love him. He will be missed by many.
He was preceded in death by his infant grandson, Riley Barnes; parents, Edd King (E.K.) and Pat Barnes; in-laws, Lecie and Johnnie B. Harris; sister, Patsy Barnes Brown; and brother-in-law, Jack Moore Brown.
He is survived by the love of his life for 55 years his wife, Janice Barnes; daughter, Monica Ann Barnes; son, Jonathan Frank Barnes (Tesia and her son, Elijah ); granddaughter, Katilyn Nicole Barnes; brothers and sisters-in-law; Dale Harris (Shelbie) and Ronnie Harris (Vonda); nieces, Marie Welsh (John), Jenny Short (Mike), Kazann Black (Barry), Tawanna Isbell (Randall), Natasha Penick (Tim) and Javonna Montgomery (Troy); nephew, Jeff Harris, special family who were like grandchildren, Tabitha and Sarah Morrow Will and Abby Housley, Wilson and Connor Hix, Levi Lowe; grand pup, Kingston Blue; and a host of great nieces, great nephews and many good friends.
