A graveside service will be held on Thursday, Oct. 31, 2024, at 11 a.m. at Pleasantfield Cemetery of Parrish, with Kilgore-Green Funeral Home directing. Hal Miller will officiate.
Gary was a faithful employee to Hanna Steel until his retirement. Fondly known as “Bozo” to all of his friends, he was loved by all who knew him and will be sorely missed.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Margaret Sides Carr; daughter, Tammy Oliver; parents, Howard and Juelette Carr; grandparents, Jodie and Maggie Carr and Clarence and Annie Pounds; and in-laws, Leon and Ardelle Sides.
He is survived by grandchildren, Brady Oliver and Wyatt Oliver; sister, Janet Handley; son-in-law, Kevin Oliver; and a host of other relatives and friends.
