Helen Joy Tubbs

Family will be receiving friends on Saturday, December 13, 2025, from 12 until 2 p.m., at Kilgore-Green Funeral Home. Funeral services will follow at 2 p.m., in the Kilgore-Green Chapel, with burial at Windham Tubbs Cemetery. Steve Vice and Terrance Cleghorn will officiate.

She was preceded by her parents, Fletcher and Christina Coggins Romine; sister, Mary Ellen Romine Bonner (Lance); brothers, Mac Romine and Elton Romine; father and mother-in-law, Shepard and Clara Belle Harris Tubbs; brother-in-law, Donald Tubbs (Jackie) and sister-in-law, Alma Tubbs Robbins.

She is survived by her loving husband of 56 years, Dual Tubbs; daughters, Missy Tubbs Gilbert (Jeff) and JoAnn Tubbs Crim; grandchildren, Shelby Gilbert, J.D. Gilbert, Anna Claire Crim, Finn Crim, Price Crim and Carter Crim, sister-in-law, Kathy Romine; brothers-in-law, Bual Tubbs (Bobbie) and Paul Ray Robbins and a host of other relatives and good neighbors.
