Visitation will be held Friday, Jan. 12, 2018, from 6 until 8 p.m. at Kilgore-Green Funeral Home.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, Jan. 13, 2018, at 11 a.m. in the Kilgore-Green Chapel, with burial at Boldo Cemetery. Bryan Richardson will officiate.
Pate was preceded in death by his son, Clarence Pate.
He is survived by his wife, Joan Pate; children, John Pate, Kathyrn Pate and Lisa Pate; daughter-in-law, Laura Altes Pate; grandchildren, Heather Godwin and Lauren Hughes; and brother, Clarence Wade Pate.
