Mr. Joe Earl Williams

Joe Earl Williams, 58, of Jasper, passed away Wednesday, March 1, 2017, at Brookwood Baptist Health - Walker Baptist Medical Center. Visitation will be held Saturday, March 4, 2017, from 5 until 8 p.m. at Durr’s Chapel United Methodist Church, and Sunday, March 5, 2017, from 1 until 2 p.m. at the original Walker High School Theater at the corner of Highland Avenue and 16th Street East in Jasper. Funeral services will be Sunday, March 5, 2017, at 2 p.m. at the old Walker High School Theater, with burial to follow in the Gay Reed Cemetery in Jasper. Rev. Richard Stryker will officiate and Rev. Jerry Wilder will deliver the eulogy. He leaves to cherish his memory his mother, Ms. Elmer Hudson; loving wife of 33 years, Pennie L. Williams; sons, Cedric G. Williams Sr. (Dasi) and Wesley L Williams (Kayla); grandson, Cedric G Williams Jr.; unborn granddaughter, Riley Blake Williams; sisters, Mary White, Lenoria Curry, Jeraldine Woodberry (James), Claudette Watkins, Shelia Guyton (Willie), Rose Mary Harris, and Joyce Jackson; brother, Joe Lee Bondman; and a host of nieces, nephews, other family members and friends.
