Loree Odom Peppers of Arley passed away peacefully at the age of 88 on May 23, 2025, at her home surrounded by her family. She was a loving and devoted mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, May 31, 2025, from 11am until 12 pm at Kilgore-Green Funeral Home with the service to follow at 12. Burial will be at Mt. Hope Cemetery in Arley.
She was preceded in death by her son, Dwayne Peppers; parents Buel and Evelyn Odom; siblings Samuel Orton (Delores) Odom, Peggy (Carlon) Grizzell, Roy (Barbara) Odom, and Ervin (Lucy) Odom.
She is survived by her son Donnie (Lori) Peppers; grandchildren Clayton Ivey, Hannah Peppers (Josh Madison), Ally (Ethan) Cleghorn, and Emily Peppers; great-grandchildren Harper, Hayden, Bailey, and Dwayne; sister Gwenda (Thomas) Tidwell; and a large extended family and friends.
The family wishes to extend our heartfelt thanks to Amedysis Home Health and Hospice for the love and care they provided to our mother and grandmother, but also to our entire family in the final months of her life.
