Ms. Lou Ann Booth

Lou Ann Booth, 82, of Jasper, passed away Saturday, June 15, 2019, at South Baldwin Regional Medical Center in Orange Beach, Ala.

Family will receive friends on Tuesday, June 18, 2019 from 12 until 2 p.m. at Jasper’s First Baptist Church. The service will follow at 2 p.m. Dr. Michael Adams, Dr. Lloyd Stilley and Rev. Conrad Howell will officiate. Burial will be at Walker Memory Gardens.

She retired as the Director of Jasper’s First Baptist Church Preschool.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Denver and Offie Moore; brother, Norman Moore; sisters, Billie Dean Entrekin, Wallace Calhoun, and Betty Ezell.

She is survived by her husband of 60 years, Douglas Booth; daughter, Diane Myers (Wayne); son, Gary Booth; grandchildren, Katelyn Darwin (Patrick), Jackson Sparks, Brittany Myers, Sydney Booth, and Anna Kate Booth; great grandchild, Ella Ann Darwin; along with many nieces, nephews, and countless friends.

In lieu of flowers, the family request donations be made to The Bread of Life Ministry of Jasper’s First Baptist Church, P.O. Box 71 Jasper, AL. 35502, a ministry that was dear to her heart.
