He was born to the late Marshall Grady and Sally Taylor Oden. He was a beloved Husband, Father, Grandfather, and Great-Grandfather.
Bob is preceded in death by his parents; son, Tim Oden; Brothers, Wesley, John Henry, Nathan, James, and J.D.; and sisters Lucille Barnes and Ethal White.
He leaves to cherish his memory his wife, Jeanette; children, Greg Oden and Gwendolyn Oden; grandchildren, Veronica Huff, Victoria (Josh) Anderson, and Alex Oden; great-grandchildren, Violette Anderson and Gaines Anderson.
Services will be held on December 30, 2025, at Kilgore-Green Funeral Home in Jasper, AL. Visitation will begin at 11:30 a.m. for family and from 12:00–2:00 p.m. for friends and family, followed by the funeral service at 2:00 p.m. A short graveside service will follow at Bennett Cemetery in Jasper, AL.
