Rose Myrtle Drummond

She was born on June 3, 1939, in Jasper, Alabama. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister and friend. She was a homemaker and wonderful cook that loved decorating her home. She was married to the love of her life for 46 years until his passing.

The family will receive friends on Sunday, June 1, 2025, from 1 until 2 p.m., at Kilgore-Green Funeral Home, with service to follow at 2 p.m., in the chapel, with burial at Bennett Cemetery. Brother Richard Harbin will officiate.

She was preceded in death by her husband, J.L. Drummond; son, Eddie Drummond; great-grandchild, Landon Rader; parents, C.W. “Bud” and Birdie Lee; siblings, Harvey Lee, Charlie Lee, Eunice Banks, Iness Lee and Betty Cater.

She is survived by her children, Mildred Harbin (Barry), Russell Drummond (Tammy) and Tony Drummond (Mario); grandchildren, Jamie Rader, Jeremy Banks (Jaime), Laura Beth Dobbins (Brad); great-grandchildren, Haley Higgins (Joseph) and Henlee Dobbins; her loving twin sister, Myrtice Key and a host of other relatives and friends.
