William Wesley Oden

He was born to the union of the late, Marshall Grady and Sally Taylor Oden in Birmingham, Alabama. He was a heavy equipment operator for many years, a beloved Husband, Father, and Grandfather.

William is preceded in death, by his parents; his wife, Betty L. Oden; Brothers, John Henry, Nathan, James and J.D. and sisters Lucille Barnes and Ethal White and Daughter Sharron Taylor.

He leaves to cherish his memory his children, Wonda Oden of St. Augustine, Florida; Wayne Oden (Marylin) of Lakeville, Indiana; Rodger Oden of Delray Beach, Florida; Six grandchildren, Kimberly (Jeff) of St. Augustine, Florida; Jason (Betty) of Hilliard, Florida; Christy (Josh) of South Mills, North Carolina; Shawn (NikkI) of Boynton Beach, Florida; Megan (Tony) of Sunrise, Florida; William (Chineth) of Hialeah, Florida; Natalie (Mike) of New Carlisle, Indiana; Nathan of Niles, Michigan; great great grandchildren, Macy, Madison, Blake, Cole, Brett, Emma, Ryan, Alayna, Jake, Ethan, Alexis, Brenden, Phillip, Alayjah, Remington; brother Robert Oden (Jannett), and a host of family and friends.

Visitation will be Saturday, June 14, 2025 at 11:00 am at Kilgore-Green Funeral Home, A graveside service will follow at 1:00 PM at Mt. Zion Cemetery. Bryan Richardson will officiate.
