She was born November 27, 1937 in Jefferson, a daughter of the late Albert E. and Jennie Nathodil Morris.
Mrs. Harris was a 1957 graduate of Jefferson High school.
She was a secretary for a retail store and was Nazarene by faith.
She enjoyed crafts, crocheting, knitting and ceramics.
On February 16, 1961 she married Rufus Harris, who survives.
Also surviving is a son, Rufus H. Harris and his wife Debbie of Lewiston, Idaho; two grandsons, Nicholas and RJ Harris; a sister, Emma Faye Phillips of Garrettsville, OH; four brothers, Harry Jay Morris of Georgetown, DE, Paul Morris of Coraopolis, Murray T. Morris of Fairchance, and Gary S. Morris of Waynesburg.
Deceased are two brothers, Chance Morris and Vaughn Morris.
Friends will be received from 5 to 7 p.m. Monday, in the Behm Funeral Homes Inc.1477 Jefferson Road, Jefferson, Gregory P. Rohanna, supervisor, where services will held at 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, October 27, 2015 with the Rev. Carl Kibler officiating. Interment will follow in Jefferson Cemetery, Jefferson.
