He was born May 31, 1974, in Washington, the son of Willard and Barbara Bates Ankrom of Jefferson.
Denny was a 1994 graduate of Jefferson-Morgan High School.
He worked as a laborer at GE Vernova.
Denny enjoyed fishing, playing video games and feeding the birds.
Surviving in addition to his parents, Willard and Barb, are three brothers, William (Amy) Ankrom, Dan Ankrom (Susan Mason), and Jason (Angie) Ankrom, all of Rices Landing, and several aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.
After the funeral service all are welcome to a luncheon at the Jefferson Community Center at the Jefferson United Methodist Church.
