

He was born August 7, 1934 in Clarksville, a son of the late Arthur Lee Arnold and Bessie C. Kinsell Arnold.
He was a 1952 graduate of Jefferson High School.
On February 18, 1961 he married Betty Russell Arnold, who died October 29, 1986.
Mr. Arnold was a retired mail carrier for the United States Postal Service.
He was a Korean War era veteran of the U.S. Army, and was a member of Cole Hanson Post 391 of the American Legion in Fredericktown, where he served as Chaplin.
Mr. Arnold was a life-long resident of Clarksville where he had served as a volunteer firefighter with the Clarksville Volunteer Fire Co.
He was an avid outdoorsman and was a member of the Sinnemahoning Sportsman’s Club.
Surviving are two sons, Dale Morton (Marsha) and Donald Arnold Jr. (Julie) both of Clarksville; a daughter Diana Morton of Clarksville; 4 grandchildren, Kristen Ozohonish, Jamie Morton, Dale Morton Jr., and Dawn Louise Morton; 5 great-grandchildren, Corby, Blaine, Gunnar, Keegan, and Kennedy; two sisters, Betty Greenlee and Ruth Campbell, both of Clarksville; and several nieces and nephews.
Deceased is a sister, Roberta Taylor.
Friends will be received 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m., Monday in Behm Funeral Homes Inc., 1477 Jefferson Road, Jefferson where services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, November 24, 2015, with Pastor John Thomas officiating followed by interment in Buckingham Cemetery with graveside military honors by American Legion Post 391.
