Helen J. Ward Morris

She was born June 18, 1933 in Waynesburg, a daughter of the late Earnest A. and Ada Cumberledge Ward.

Mrs. Morris was a homemaker and was a former Democrat Committee Person for Morgan Township.

On August 30, 1952, she married Gene A. Morris, who survives.

Also surviving are two daughters, Bonnie L. Hammon (Gary) and Tina S. Taylor (Bob), both of Waynesburg; two grandchildren, Jennifer Haines (Danny) and Cody Taylor (Patty); a great granddaughter, Danielle Haines; two sisters, Vaunda Davis of Orlando, FL and Margaret Sellers of Sandford, FL.

Deceased is a daughter, Pamela Lynn Morris; sisters, Betty Morris, Mildred Lewis, Dorothy Jennings, Doris ward and Mary Braddock; and brothers, Oidman ward, Gaylord Ward and Earnest Ward Jr.

Friends will be received from 4 to 9 p.m. Friday at Behm Funeral Homes Inc. 1477 Jefferson Road, Jefferson, Gregory P. Rohanna, supervisor, where services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, February 28, 2015, with the Rev. Carl Leipold officiating. Interment will follow in Jefferson Cemetery, Jefferson.
