

She was born July 21, 1925 in Clarksville, a daughter of the late Glenn and Lydia Eaton Sellers.
Mrs. Hopshire was a graduate of Jefferson High School.
She was a homemaker and had worked as a teller at the former Gallatin National Bank.
Mrs. Hopshire loved spending time with her family and was a motherly figure to many.
She was a member of the First Christian Church in Carmichaels.
On February 11, 1944 she married John A. Hopshire, who died April 25, 2006.
Surviving are a daughter, Jeanne H. Stacher of Waynesburg; four grandchildren, MaChal (Jason) Forbes, Logan Stacher, Chathem (Jeremy) Hooper, and Kyle (Ivanna) Hartson; and three great-grandchildren, Micah and Cailyn Hooper, and Camden Forbes.
Deceased are a daughter, Patricia “Trish” Hartson; two brothers, Glenn Sellers and Charles “Chad” Sellers; and a sister, Mae Molesy.
Friends will be received from 2 to 8 pm Thursday in the Behm Funeral Homes Inc., 1477 Jefferson Road, Jefferson, Gregory P. Rohanna, supervisor, where services will be held at 11:00 am Friday, October 31, 2014 with Rev. Dr. Edward Peirce and Rev. Reagan Fike officiating.
