She was born September 26, 1930 in Mather, a daughter of the late Albert and Winifred O’Freal Fowler.
Ms. Fowler was a graduate of Jefferson High School and Zoar Nursing School, Allison, PA.
She worked for forty years in the nursery at Magee Women’s Hospital in Pittsburgh, before retiring.
Formerly of Mather she lived most of her life in Pittsburgh.
Surviving are several nieces and nephews.
Deceased are three sisters, Mary Fleming, Grace Doney and Helen Sharpneck; three brothers, Harry Fowler, Charles Fowler and John “Pete” Fowler.
Family and friends will be received from 10:00 am to 12:00 noon, Saturday, January 18, 2014, the hour of services in the Behm Funeral Homes, 1477 Jefferson Road, Jefferson, Gregory P.
