Regina M. Monas

She was born February 25, 1930 in Jacktown, a daughter of the late Clifford and Lena Thomas Nevling.

Mrs. Monas was a 1947 graduate of Center Township High School.

She was a homemaker who loved reading and doing cross-word puzzles.

On April 13, 1951 she married James Edward Monas, who died April 15, 1997.

Surviving are four children, Donna Rossman and her husband Mel of Streetsboro, OH, Jim Monas and his wife Lana of Mather, Terry Monas and his wife Jill of Jefferson and Lisa Bosnic and her husband Gary of Washington; seven grandchildren, Craig and Adam Rossman, Alec Bosnic, Jilissa Kennedy, Janelle Hurd, Charles and Brent Yatchum; 10 great grandchildren.

Deceased in addition to her husband is a sister, Dorothy Pyle.

Friends will be received from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. on Monday, February 24, 2014, the hour of funeral services in the Behm Funeral Homes Inc., 1477 Jefferson Road, Jefferson, Gregory P. Rohanna, supervisor, with the Rev Ken Jones officiating. Interment in Greene County Memorial Park, Waynesburg. In lieu of flowers the family suggests memorial to the Donnell House, Hospice Care Inc. of the Washington Hospital, 10 Leet Street, Washington, PA 15301.
