Stanley served in the United States Army during the Korean War.
He worked as a diesel mechanic for several different companies, including Caterpillar, Chisler Brothers Company and Jack’s Excavating.
Stanley was a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars, Post # 3491, Carmichaels.
Surviving is his wife, Margaret “Marge” Ann Clayton Haring Halsey; three step-children, Carol Haring of Jefferson, Charles Haring of Mather and Joseph Haring of Jefferson; 15 grandchildren; 2 great grandchildren; and a sister, Zola.
