Ashley M. Tenney

Ashley was born to Deborah and Stuart Tenney on April 22nd, 1976 in Stuart, Florida. She is survived by her parents, her husband Geoffrey, son Liam, and brother Nicholas. Ashley attended Saint Michael’s school in Stuart, Saint Edward’s school in Vero Beach and graduated with a degree in education from Rollins college.

Upon graduation, Ashley worked at Saint Michael’s and Seacoast bank here on the treasure coast. Ashley loved the beaches and watersports while living here and spent summer times with her parents every other year in the Abacos where her parents first met. Ashley met her husband Geoffrey in 2007 and they both hit it off immediately. They were married in 2009 on a wonderful beach in the British Virgin Islands.

Ashley and Geoff loved spending Christmas and Thanksgiving’s every other year with her parents in South Carolina. They enjoyed going into Beaufort for lunch and window shopping. They often felt like they were in a painting by Norman Rockwell spending time together and making memories. Their son Liam was born in 2010 and life became busy and more full of love.

Ashley and her husband enjoyed anything involving saltwater, as her husband was an avid fisherman and lobsterman during the summer. They both loved golf and she was always included to caddie for her husband and friends. Many new friends were made over the years and many memories made. They were thankful for the time they spent together and will be missed by many.

A celebration of life will be announced in the future for friends and family in the coming months.
