Calum & Aileen MacRitchie

Born in Chicago, Illinois, son of Peter and Anne MacRitchie, he was a detective on the Chicago Police force for 35 years. He was a resident of Jensen Beach, FL for the past 30 years coming from Chicago.

A veteran of World War II, he served in the Coast Guard. He was a member Grace Presbyterian Church, Moose Lodge and AM Vets of Jensen Beach and Fraternal Order of Police.

Mr. MacRitchie is predeceased by his wife of 64 years, Pearl, and a daughter Janet Simpson. He is survived by a son Calum Macritchie, Jr. of East Peoria, Illinois; a daughter Carol Pawelczak also of Alsip, Illinois; three brothers Normand MacRitchie of Honolulu, HW, Ian MacRitchie of Hendersonville, NC and Peter MacRitchie of Chicago, IL.; ten grandchildren and seventeen great grandchildren.

Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, September 8, 2010 at Aycock Funeral Home Chapel, Jensen Beach and Moose service will be at 6pm. Services will be Thursday, September 9, 2010, 11 a.m. at Grace Presbyterian Church, Stuart, FL.
