Catherine V Barry

Catherine V. Barry also known as Cookie and Nana, passed away with peace and grace on April 4, 2015. She is predeceased by her loving husband John Barry in 2001, daughter Veronica Barry and sons Joey and Dennis Barry.

Catherine was born in Philadelphia Pennsylvania and was of Catholic faith. After graduation she met the love of her life, John. After marrying John she dedicated herself to being a loving housewife and mother. Her home was also open to all neighboring children, and her kitchen was never closed.

She and John retired to Florida, and in addition to their many travels, she devoted her later years into raising her grandchildren.

She is survived by sons John Barry Jr, and Steve Barry of Pennsylvania, daughters, Michelle Stem of Port St. Lucie, and Katherine Barry of Stuart; grandchildren, John, Katrina, Joe’l, Brian, Breanna, John, Shawn, Cherie , Jay Jay, Kimberly, Holley, Shane, Ryan, Cagney, Steven, Amber and Kristina.

A service will be held at Aycock Funeral Home, 950 NE Jensen Beach Blvd, Jensen Beach, FL 34957 on April 18, 2015 from 1:00 to 4:00 pm

She leaves us rich in memories. She will be always remembered as a loving mother and grandmother. Always in our hearts forever you’ll always be missed and never forgotten. May you rest in peace! Until we see again we love you.
