Dolores C. Johnston

Dolores “Dolly” C. Johnston, 82, died Monday April, 4th, 2011 at Emeritus assistant living facility of Jensen Beach, FL. She was born in Elmont, NY, and moved to the area in 1988 from Elmont, NY. She lived in Nettles Island for 18 years.

Dolly worked for Liberty Mutual Insurance Company in Lynbrook, NY for 15 years. She was of the Catholic faith. She was a member of the Tennis Club, Fishing Club and avid softball player all in Nettles Island, FL.

Survivors include her two daughters, Diane (Timothy) Dritchas of Queen Creek, AZ, Darlene Steiler of Jensen Beach, FL, a son, Richard W.(Pat) Johnston of Stuart, FL, 5 grandchildren, Michelle, RJ (Jennifer), Richard A.(Brinn), Jonathan (Alaina) and Michael, 5 great grandchildren, Kendell, Alex, Aleczander, Vanessa and Olivia.

She was predeceased in death by her husband of 39 years, Richard G. Johnston.

A visitation will be held on Friday April 8th, from 11:00 – 12:00 at Aycock Funeral Home, Jensen Beach, with a funeral service to follow at noon.
