Mr. Pav was our favorite teacher at Thomas Jefferson Jr. High, Edison, NJ.
we all have great memories of his class and he will be mourned by us all.

Mr.Pavlovsky gave me some very good  advice about work/family balance in 1984 when family circumstances caused me to re- evaluate my teaching career. He kindly cleared time in his busy day to discuss the issue thoroughly and with his characteristic warmth. I took his advice and no one in my family has ever regretted my decision.  He had such good instincts and was a very people- oriented superintendent. Little Silver was fortunate to have had him as a district leader.

Rest In Peace, Ed.  A special friend--a great guy.  We'll miss hearing all those wonderful life stories.  Our condolences to the whole family, Love, Arlene & Jack

Anyone else"  ..."Andy, there's nothing I wouldn't do for you & I know there's nothing you wouldn't do for me so we go through life doing nothing for each other"----These are just a few of Ed's countless witticisms...Ed never stopped learning.Soaking up sun on the Amboy beach, he'd be reading "30 Days To A More Powerful Vocabulary"  He was the most handsome, witty, intellegent, kind & nicest guy of all our friends. Requiem for a Dear Friend 
We mourn the passing of our dear friend who, in sunny Florida, met an untimely end. 
Ed Pavlovsky is our beloved friend's name who achieved in life a well-deserved fame. As an educator he guided the young generation to become better citizens in a greater nation. He was born and raised in the City by the Bay, an eager student in our schools, he earned his way. He served his country in WW II and the Korean War. We salute Ed Pavlovsky elite member of PAHS Class of 44!

I, too, worked for Ed in the Little Silver Schools. He was such a fine, funny, caring person - touching so many lives. Over the years he became a mentor and a friend. I owe my career in administration to his encouragement and support, and I shall miss him always. My thoughts and prayers are with his family.

My heartfelt sympathy to the Pavlovsky family. I was a member of the Little Silver teaching staff and held him in the highest regard. He had a unique ability to  make you feel valued and appreciated. I will always remember his warm personality and winning sense of humor.

Ed hired me to work as a part time basic skills teacher the day I registered my children for school. We had moved from Ohio and Ed made my family feel so welcome in Little Silver. Through the years I went back to school and became certified in Special Education and he encouraged me to stay in Little Silver. Ed felt strongly about our programs and supported the teachers and students. 
The Board of Education office was in our school building and he often dropped in to see what was going on....you always felt as though you were welcoming a friend into your classroom. In his retirement, he share stories of his grandchildren and children as well as Ann (he loved to talk about tap dancing). You are fortunate to have had such an significant and loving father and grandfather.
