Irene was an active member of First Congregational Church of Port St. Lucie, FL.
Prior to retirement she worked as a supervisor for Rockland County Department of Social Services for 30 years in Spring Valley, NY.
Survivors include two sons, Clifford F. Summers,III and his wife Darleen of Queensbury, NY and Bruce Summers and his wife Ana Kamof of Davie, FL, three grandchildren Clifford IV, Scott and Janey, and eight great grandchildren.
Irene was predeceased by her husband Clifford Summers, Jr.
Memorial services will be held at a later date.
