We want to Thank everyone that came to the service yesterday. It was a very nice service led by LC Campbell. He said the right words and made you feel relaxed as can be through it. He sounded like he knew her for 30 plus years! Thank you to Jay at Aycock for helping us get all the finishing touches figured out and to all of your employees. Again Thank you all for your kind words and support through this time. Rich doesn’t go on social media but he definitely wanted you all to know he appreciates all the love ❤️

She was the “Big Sister” always. We remained close even though we lived miles apart. I have a wealth of fond memories starting with childhood antics (dressing up and putting on plays and pushing out a window with our bare feet), to adulthood (the two of us pregnant and stuffing ourselves with turkey wings), to our visits while older (getting Joan and Bill into our small airplane). I will cherish these memories and keep them in my heart.Mostly, however, I remember Joan for her love and devotion to her family. Her world revolved around them and they gave her much happiness. She was loved greatly and she will be missed! Rest Joan, in the arms of God, till we meet again.

Our prayers and thoughts to Bill and family. Joanie was one amazing lady, smart, funny and she could talk about everything and anything, which that was a true gift. Our trip to the Keys, playing tiles, dinners together and bbq’s, was the best with beautiful memories. She loved burnt hot dogs!!

Joanie, you will be missed!! We love you❤️
