Born October 22, 1925, Jack was the son of R. John Rothermel and Maude Durham Rothermel.
Jack was a World War II veteran, serving in the 4th Marine Division. In later years, he served as president of both the Florida State and National 4th Marine Division Associations.
Jack retired as a supervisor from the Consolidated Edison Power Company of New York, where he worked for 37 years.
He is survived by Vivian, his wife of 66 years, daughters Harriet and Jo Ann, granddaughter Allison and 2 great-grand children, Kieran and Aine.
A gathering of friends will be held Wednesday September 3, 5pm to 7pm, at Aycock Funeral Home, 950 NE Jensen Beach Blvd., Jensen Beach, FL..
