

Joseph was born on February 23, 1918 in Brooklyn, NY and moved to Jensen Beach in 1998 coming from Manhattan, NY.
Prior to retirement Joseph worked for the Housing Authority of New York City as a Statistician.
Joseph was of the Roman Catholic faith, a member of the American Legion Post 0126 of Jensen Beach, FL and served in the Navy during WWII.
Survivors include brother Bruno F. Szymanski and his wife Dorothy of Stuart, FL, five nephews Tadevsz Szymanski of Ft. Meyers, FL, Franciszek Szymanski of Johnstown, CO, Henry Szymanski of Golden, CO, and a niece Deborah Garvin of Rheinbek, NY, James Reale of Fayetteville, NC and Robert Reale of LaCrosse, WI.
Joseph was predeceased by a sister Aldona Reale and two brothers Chester Szymanski and Eugene Szymanski.
Visitation will be on Sunday, December 4, 2011, from 2:00 to 4:00 and 6:00 to 8:00PM at the Haight Funeral Home in Sykesville, MD. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 10:00AM, Monday December 5, 2011 at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church in Eldersburg, MD. Interment will be at Crestlawn Memorial Gardens, 2150 Mount View Road, Marriottsville, MD, 21104.
