Kathy Lee Herbst

On November 6, 2024 Kathy made her journey to be with her Lord.

Born in Plainview, New York on September 30, 1952. In 1973 she graduated from the State University of New York – Plattsburgh. After graduating, she went on to complete computer software certification in San Diego. She relocated to Stuart, Florida in 2011 to be closer to family. She relished living in downtown and was active in a multitude of volunteer activities, including Treasure Coast Presbyterian Church, Building Bridges to Youth, Meals on Wheels and Spiritual Care Team at Martin Memorial Hospital. She loved animals, especially riding her beloved horse Buddy, as well as being a part of a Woman’s Motorcycle Club, which took her on many adventures. She was a passionate researcher in many different subjects and self-taught on how to play the Native American Flute and guitar.

Kathy is survived by her siblings, Jeff, Glenn (Linda), Carol, Marc (Carol), and her companion and best friend, Peggy Sargeant.
