
Born in Clearwater, FL, he resided in Jensen Beach for more than 40 years.
He was a veteran of the U.S. Navy, serving aboard submarines.
Before retirement, he was a real estate agent. For the last 20 years, he dedicated his life to being a homeschool dad and mentor to Kenson, his pride and joy.
Ken was a member of No Club Car Guys Club and was actively involved with Special Olympics and various organizations related to those with special needs.
Survivors include his wife, Darleene; daughters, Suzi Burnette and husband, Jeff, of Atlanta and Shelly Hartford of Wilmington, DE; son, Kenson of Jensen Beach; sisters, Charlotte Wishen of Hobe Sound, FL and Yvonne Maney of Stuart, FL; and brother, Richard Frink and wife, Brenda, of Pasadena, TX.
There will be a graveside service at 2 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 2, at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens in Fort Pierce, FL. A reception to celebrate Ken’s life will begin at 5 p.m. at BMerry Gastro Pub, 31A SW Osceola St., Post Office Arcade, Stuart.
Ken requested that in lieu of flowers, donations be made to help Kenson pursue his passions in life. These may be sent to Darleene Frink or Suzi Burnette at 2242 Harry Brooks Drive NW, Atlanta, GA 30318.
Arrangements are entrusted to Aycock Funeral Home in Stuart.
