Lois Jean Strand

Born in Chicago, IL, Lois moved to Hutchinson Island in 2002.

She was very active in her community, Holiday Out where she loved to play shuffleboard and bridge. Lois was also the Director of their Rec Center for many years. Lois loved to ballroom dance at the Crystal Ballroom and was a very active member of Redeemer Lutheran Church in Stuart.

Lois is survived by her beloved friend, Alton Fox of Stuart, FL; daughter, Gail (Wayne) Lagasse of Jensen Beach, FL; daughter, Jean (Arius) Schiff of Santa Barbara, CA; son James (Karen) Strand, of Canton, GA; grandchildren, Audrey(Eric Adams) Stoffel; Natalie Stoffel of Chicago, IL; Corey (Stacey) Schiff, of Santa Barbara, CA; Kimberly Schiff of Los Angeles, CA; Bailey Strand, of Nashville, TN; great-grandson, Reginald Adams of Wonder Lake, IL; brother, Marvin Kamerlander, and nephew, Robert (Roberta) Kamerlander.

She was predeceased by her loving husband of 43 years, Byron.

She lived a wonderful full life and the family would like you to join them in the celebration of her life on Thursday, December 10, 2015, at the Redeemer Lutheran Church, 2450 SE Ocean Boulevard, Stuart, FL 34996-3312. Visitation will begin at noon with a funeral service to begin at 1:00 PM.
