

Lorraine Leahy, of Stuart, FL, age 102, went to her heavenly home on April 26, 2023. She was a Christian who loved God, her family, and her friends, and all will miss her.
Lorraine Joan Leahy (nee Osbahr) was born on October 26, 1920, in Bayonne, New Jersey, the daughter of Sarah Joyce and George Osbahr. She and her husband raised their family in Scotch Plains, NJ, and then after a time in Piscataway, NJ, retired to Venice, FL. She moved to Stuart Lodge in 2017.
Lorraine was a homemaker and loved games and travel. She was an avid reader and volunteered as the librarian for many years while living in Circle Wood in Venice, FL. Her family was very important to Lorraine. She delighted in keeping up with each of them, never missing a birthday or special occasion. She was also the devoted Aunt Lorraine, who remained very close to her sister's four children and their families and enjoyed reminiscing with her niece from the Leahy side of the family.
Lorraine was predeceased by her husband of 42 years, Clayton ( Buck) Leahy, in 1984 and her sister, Claire January, in 2002.
She is survived by her sons, James Leahy (Diana) of NC and Kenneth Leahy (Marcia) of PA as well as her three granddaughters, Christine Eardley (Alex) of NC, Kathy George of FL, and Kimberly Blest (Mark) of PA and her grandson, Michael Leahy (Tara) of NJ. She is survived by nine great-grandchildren: David, Lindsey, Kate, Nick, Justin, Callen, Tyler, Maggie, and Maura, as well as her great-great-grandson, Hugh.
