Richard Allen Larochelle

Richard A. LaRochelle, Sr (11/8/40 - 12/20/24) was called to Heaven after a long and courageous battle with Alzheimers disease. Richard was born in Lawrence, Massachusetts and graduated from Central Catholic High School in 1958. He was an expert craftsman and used his skills to build a successful business, Counter Tops Inc. in Salem, New Hampshire where he worked side-by-side his family and loyal staff for 27 years. He retired to Florida in 2005 where he enjoyed golfing and spending time with family and friends. Richard loved supporting the Boston sports teams and was a die hard Red Sox and NE Patriots fan. He will be remembered as a devoted son, husband and father.

Richard leaves behind his beloved wife of 65 years, Rosalie (D’Agata); his son Robert (Rachel) LaRochelle; his daughters Robin (Andrew) Hunt and Rhonda (Sharon) Carlson; daughter in law Bonnie Alexander; his sister, Patricia Lewis; four grandchildren; and two great grandchildren. He was predeceased by his eldest son Richard Jr. in 2017, and his parents, Leo and Margaret LaRochelle.
