

Robert “Robb” S. Guss, Jr., born in West Chester, PA, resided in Mildord, PA and Port St. Lucie, FL. He was a former 28 year employee of Erie Lackawanna Conrail and Norfolk Southern Railroad. Robb died December 17th, 2019, at his home after a long battle of cancer.
The son of late Robert and Wanda Guss, survivors include his wife, Sue Guss, sons, Jessie Guss, of New York, Jamie Guss, and his wife, Althea, of New York, daughter, Mariah Guss, of New York, step daughter, Sue Ellen Latini, of Pennsylvania, and sister, Nancy Guss Camarote, and her husband, Paul, of Maple Grove, Minnesota.
Robb was a veteran of the United States Army, having served two tours in Vietnam (1966 – 1968). He was a Master Suba Diver and an avid Harley Davidson Motorcycle rider. He was also a member of the American Legion Marsh Kellog Post 139, Milford, PA, past Sgt. Of Arms, and also served for the color guard. Robb was part of the Scholarship Committee Nomination of Election Committee, Catering Committee, and the Huey Helicopter Committee. He was also a member of the Pike Co. Abate, served as Sgt. Of Arms many years as well as chair person for the scholarship committee. He was a life member of Vietnam Veterans of America Tri-State Chapter 623, Milford, PA.
Robb was also a member of American Legion Post 126, Jensen Beach, FL, Post Adjutant 2001 – 2003, Port 1st Vice Commander 2005 – 2007, then Post Commander 2007- 2008. Also veteran’s Foreign Way (PA), AM Vets Post 92, Rio, FL. As post officers all these years also served on various committees, such as scholarship, boys state, JRROTC, and all school awards. His presence in these various veteran’s organizations will be sadly missed.
He also enjoyed poker games, poker runs and fund raisers. Loved and lived the Antique business (known as Robb Guss Antiques – Sue Guss Antiques) 3rd generation antique dealer. Most avid fisherman both fresh and salt water, and love of nature.
Memorial services will be held 1 p.m. Saturday, December 28th, at Aycock Funeral Home, 950 NE Jensen Beach Blvd, Jensen Beach, FL 34957. A Celebration of Life and Honorary Military Service will be following after memorial services at the American Legion Post 126 in Jensen Beach, FL. All are welcome.
