Ronda S Owens

Ronda Wilfred Stephens Owens, wife of the late William Emmons Owens, Stuart, FL. entered into eternal peace September 12, 2022. She is predeceased by her husband, William Emmons Owens, Stuart, FL and her son, William Emmons Owens Jr., Okeechobee, FL. Ronda is survived by her children Jaima Owens McInnis, Palm City, FL and Heather Owens Turgeon, Boca Raton, FL. She was blessed to have four grandchildren, Charles Andrew Turgeon, Seth Martin Owens, Abigail Leigh Owens, William E. Owens, II and two great grandchildren, William E. Owens (Catch) III and Seth Martin Owens, Jr. Ronda was a charter member of First Presbyterian Church, Stuart, Fla and more recently attended Palm City Presbyterian Church. She was a member of the Tri Delta Sorority and an active member in her beloved PEO Philanthropic Educational Organization, where she held the offices of President and chaplain.

Ronda and her husband Bill Owens both were born in West Palm Beach, FL and moved to Stuart in 1952 where they owned and operated Owens Grove in Indiantown, FL for 40 years. Both were active in community affairs that contributed to the development of the Stuart area today. Given her strong spirit and quick sense of humor, she continued to give to her faith, family and friends of all ages until her passing.

Services will be held at 11:00am, on Saturday, October 8th at Palm City Presbyterian Church, 2700 SW Martin Highway, Palm City, FL. She will be interred at Woodlawn Cemetery, West Palm Beach, FL with a private family ceremony.
